Anti-Aging Antioxidant Kit
Look younger and improve your skin’s health with Dr. Bailey’s Anti-Aging Antioxidant Kit, a Complete Skin Care Routine developed by a dermatologist for the best results possible. Dr. Bailey’s Anti-Aging Antioxidant Kit offers the best skin care products made today to help brighten your complexion and reduce wrinkles and age spots. It also protects your skin from the sun’s harmful rays and everyday stresses.
In this kit, you’ll receive 5 products to address each essential step of Cleanse, Correct, Hydrate and Protect:
- Extremely Gentle Foaming Facial Cleanser,
- Green Tea Antioxidant Treatment Cream,
- Vitamin C Anti-Wrinkle Professional Treatment Serum,
- Daily Moisturizing Face Cream, and
- Sheer Strength Pure Physical Invisible Sunscreen SPF 50+.
You have the option to add one or both of the most powerful collagen boosting ingredients to your routine for maximal age-fighting results:
- Retinol Intensive Night Therapy brightens skin while fighting wrinkles and uneven skin pigment. Retinol is a retinoid, the family of compounds that includes prescription Retin A (tretinoin).
- Glycolic Acid Face Cream 15% for AHA skin brightening to fight wrinkles and uneven skin pigment. Glycolic acid works by an entirely different mechanism than retinoids, and the results can be additive. But, AHAs work fast and can irritate sensitive skin.
This is a serious professional skin care routine made with compatible products. The products are formulated and produced in an FDA regulated laboratory using the highest quality ingredients and pharmaceutical grade purity and stability.
I have left nothing to chance. Her well-loved Antioxidant Kit is proven effective by thousands of her patients.
The products in this kit work synergistically to:

- Brighten and beautify your complexion.
You will be taking good care of your skin when you use these products. I’ve used them for years and watched them work – both in my practice and on my own skin. These are products that transform complexions!
The kit also includes:
- My favorite pH balanced facial cleanser ideal for all skin types that cleans even the most stubborn oil and product residue but that won't over-dry your skin.
- My Daily Moisturizing Face Cream fortified with additional antioxidants, vitamins, glycerin and squalane.
- A pure mineral zinc oxide sunscreen that doesn't leave a white tint and is good for all skin types. It can be used on the neck, chest, hands, and more (Sheer Strength Pure Physical Invisible SPF 50+).
Plus, you have the option of adding more wrinkle-fighting cream super heroes - retinol or glycolic Acid. These two ingredients stimulate collagen by different mechanisms than Vitamin C - and more really is better.
Yes! You can brighten your skin, reduce wrinkles, and fight facial skin-aging with confidence using this state-of-the-art, dermatologist-recommend anti-aging kit.
Antioxidants are important to fight skin aging.
Facial skin becomes rough and scaly with age, mottled with uneven pigmentation and wrinkles. Much of the damage happens due to the formation of free radicals in your skin.
Anti-oxidants neutralize free radicals and you want your skin's antioxidant reserve maximally loaded to prevent skin damage from age and sun. My antioxidant kit contains the best proven antioxidants for the job. - Dermatologist Dr. Cynthia Bailey
This is especially true for people who have spent time in the sun. The best proven antioxidants in skin care are green tea polyphenols and Vitamin C. The products in the Antioxidant Anti-Aging Skin Care Kit contain state-of-the-art versions of these antioxidants in stable formulations.
Green Tea Antioxidant Skin Therapy: This is my absolute favorite product! This lightweight, unique face cream contains a high concentration of green tea antioxidant polyphenols, combined with caffeine and a generous amount of hyaluronic acid (a water-binding ingredient). Over my many years of dermatology practice, I have seen this Green Tea Cream soothe facial redness, whether it is caused by sun damage, rosacea, seborrheic dermatitis, acne lesions, or from the use of irritating anti-aging products like Retin-A or glycolic acid. In addition, my skin cancer patients who use this Green Tea Cream seem to have fewer pre-cancerous and skin cancer lesions than before they added this to their skin care routine. Initially, I found this astounding, and now scientific studies have proven that concentrated green tea antioxidants in skin care help protect against skin cancer.
Green tea EGCG polyphenol antioxidants are good for everyone. My Green Tea Skin Therapy contains “tons” of the right stuff. In fact, it’s the equivalent of what you would find in 500 cups of brewed green tea per 1 oz. of Green Tea Cream!
Vitamin C Anti-Wrinkle Professional Treatment Serum: Most Vitamin C products are dispensed in containers that allow air to enter and inactivate the Vitamin C by a process called oxidation. You recognize this oxidation of Vitamin C as an amber color. If your Vitamin C product is amber, oxidation has occurred. Also, many formulations of Vitamin C are inherently unstable, made with forms of Vitamin C that are not proven effective or formulated to the wrong pH. I've taken these issues into account and my Vitamin C serum is unique. It contains stable and high concentration L ascorbate vitamin C, at the right pH to work, and is dispensed in a brilliant, air tight container that prevents inactivation of this very fragile ingredient by air and light (seen as a progressive amber color that develops in other products as the vitamin C inactivates).
Plus, this specific formulation is the only Vitamin C active formulation tested and shown to produce a visible layer of new collagen in the skin on skin biopsy specimens taken from a small sub-group of the study patients. This is the best indicator of wrinkle treatment. I have never seen this result produced with any of the other vitamin C anti-aging product on the market.
In my opinion, these are the two best antioxidant products available in skin care. They each have their unique benefits to your skin and the combination is a powerhouse antioxidant duo.
Add the best sunscreen and the two best wrinkle fighting and skin brightening ingredients to this antioxidant routine and you are doing everything possible to fight skin aging. - Dermatologist Dr. Bailey
Treatments that build collagen will yield more lasting results.
The 3 Most Important FAQ About Reducing Wrinkles
- Wrinkles always appear softer when the skin is exfoliated (as happens with retinol and glycolic acid products) and well moisturized.
- Sustained wrinkle improvement requires new collagen creation. This can be induced by applying high concentration vitamin C. Even more benefit is gained when you add glycolic acid or a retinoid product such as a professional retinol cream or tretinoin (available only with a prescription). This is why I give you the option to add Glycolic Acid Anti-Wrinkle Night Cream 15% and/or Retinol Intensive Anti-Wrinkle Night Cream to this routine.
- Sun exposure leads to wrinkles by causing skin collagen to break down. Sun protection is important to fight wrinkles, age spots and dull skin.
The high sun protection in this product comes surprisingly from a sunscreen that is so ultra-light feeling on your skin, you won’t believe it! Everyone loves it. Made entirely with 13.75% non-nano zinc oxide as the active ingredient, the product is still totally invisible on your skin – Yep, no white cast!
The base of Sheer Strength Physical Invisible SPF 50+ is oil-free, alcohol-free and is well tolerated even by people with sensitive skin. Fortified with additional antioxidants including resveratrol and coQ10 for good measure, wear it daily. Dermatologists agree that sun protection is the most important aspect of anti-aging skin care and skin cancer prevention.

Kit Instructions A Complete Skin Care Routine™ yields the best results and involves the 4 essential skin care steps of Cleanse, Correct, Hydrate and Protect. Use the products in this kit to create Complete Skin Care that gets results!
Cleanse: With Extremely Gentle Foaming Facial Cleanser. Wet your face and fingertips with warm water. Squeeze a small amount of the product onto your fingertips and gently massage the product onto your entire facial skin. You can also use a Facial Exfoliating Sponge or wash cloth. Rinse well and towel dry.
Correct: Apply Green Tea Antioxidant Skin Therapy. Apply the amount dispensed in 1/2 to 1 full pump to the entire face (including near the lower eyelids). Allow a few seconds or so to dry to the touch. Layer Vitamin C Anti-Wrinkle Professional Treatment Serum. For both products, the amount dispensed in 1/2 to 1 full pump is sufficient for the entire face, including near the eyelid area. Keep the cream out of the eyes and folds of your eyelids. Let the Vitamin C dry a minute or so before continuing.
Pro-Tip: The half-life of Vitamin C in skin is 4 days, meaning after loading Vitamin C into your skin you still have half of the supra-physiologic level after 4 days. I find that using Vitamin C as little as every 3rd day is sufficient to see results. Start using it daily for a week then consider reducing frequency of application.
Hydrate: Add Moisturizer. Apply Daily Face Cream where you need it after the Vitamin C and/or Green Tea Antioxidant Skin Therapy has dried to the touch.
Protect: Apply Sheer Strength Pure Physical Invisible Sunscreen SPF 50+. If you use makeup, it goes on top!
Cleanse: Wash your face with Extremely Gentle Foaming Facial Cleanser.
Correct and Hydrate: Options for night treatment depend on the products you have chosen.
Option 1: No Retinol or Glycolic Acid
Correct: Apply Green Tea Antioxidant Skin Therapy.
Hydrate: Apply Daily Face Cream and you’re set.
Option 2: Retinol with or without Glycolic Acid
Correct: Apply Retinol Night Cream. It has the same, high-concentration green tea ECGC antioxidants found in the Green Tea Antioxidant Therapy plus Retinol.
Hydrate: Apply Daily Face Cream or Glycolic Acid Anti-Wrinkle Night Cream (yes you can use them at the same time if your complexion can tolerate it!)
Option 3: Glycolic Acid
Correct: Apply Green Tea Antioxidant Skin Therapy then, layer Glycolic Acid Face Cream on top.
Hydrate: Your done because Glycolic Acid Face Cream hydrates and corrects at the same time!
This is a powerful routine and you need to monitor how your skin is doing. Skip days if your skin starts to become sensitive.
Vitamin C Anti-Wrinkle Professional Treatment Serum is powerful because it has an acidic pH. This means that it can cause a little stinging. Discontinue use and allow your skin to rest for a few days if your skin is chapped, injured or extremely sensitive. Also, the simultaneous use of free copper-containing facial products may inactivate the active ingredients in this regimen and should be avoided. My Instantly Luminous Serum contains bound copper, not free copper, and combines well with all the products in this powerful skin care routine.
Glycolic acid can also sting. It can be tricky to use if you have sensitive skin. See my AHA tips below.
Retinol can slowly cause some skin sensitivity when you first start using it. If it does, the Vitamin C and/or glycolic acid may sting more when this happens. If you notice increased skin sensitivity, let your skin rest until any sensitivity has stopped. Then, start with the Retinol every third night and work up to every night. Apply the Daily Face Cream on “off-Retinol” nights. Skin eventually gets used to Retinol; like a fitness routine, sometimes you have to start slow and build up.
You can also use these products as directed by your physician. Remember, this is an example of how I craft a skin care routine in my practice while actively supervising my patients.
Sunscreen Application Tips: Apply zinc oxide sunscreen last in your Complete Skin Care Routine. Your sunscreen should go on after all other skin care products. But, if you wear make-up, add it before you apply any make-up. This is because the zinc oxide particles sit on top of the skin where they reflect light. All skin care products that work by penetrating into the skin must be applied first.
Tips for Success with Glycolic Acid Products
Always start with lower-strength products and work up in strength as your skin is able to tolerate the glycolic acid.
Glycolic acid is by definition an “acid.” Like with Vitamin C, the acid pH is part of how the product stays active and works. It means that these products can irritate sensitive or injured skin. When, or if, there is stinging or irritation, you can lower the concentration of the glycolic acid in the product by diluting it in half with a non-glycolic acid product and gradually work towards full strength.
Mix equal portions of the glycolic acid product and a similar non-glycolic acid product (that you know your skin can tolerates) in your palm before applying them to the skin.
In a week or so, add less of the non-glycolic acid product as you mix the two products in your palm. Slowly continue this process until you can tolerate the full-strength glycolic acid product.
If your skin becomes irritated, take a break from your glycolic acid treatment for a few days, or until the skin returns back to normal, before resuming therapy.
Avoid or use less glycolic acid in areas of your skin that are more sensitive. This means diluting the glycolic product as above or avoiding glycolic acid on the area altogether.
Examples of sensitive skin areas on the body include the décolletage area of the chest and the skin folds of the groin or under the breasts. On the face, this includes the eyelids and central “T-zone” in people suffering from seborrhea.
Do not get glycolic acid on the lips. And of course, do not eat products intended for external use only.
The eyelid folds are sensitive. Do not get glycolic acid in your eyes. Avoid applying it so close to your eyes that it melts into them as the product warms to skin temperature.
Sometimes, glycolic acid products may sting if you use them after exfoliating with a scrub or rough shower cloth or sponge. If this happens, then apply glycolic acid products on days that you don’t physically exfoliate when washing. Instead, apply a non-glycolic acid product after exfoliating, and use your glycolic acid product when you don’t exfoliate
If your skin develops irritation, an injury, a sunburn, windburn, or a rash, you must not apply glycolic acid to those areas of your skin. Wait until your skin is entirely healed plus at least two weeks.
Glycolic acid will further irritate irritated skin, compounding the inflammation, preventing healing, and possibly resulting in scarring or dyspigmentation. This includes skin irritated from wind or sun, irritating skin medicines such as acne medicines or retinoids like retinol and tretenoin (Retin A and Renova) or procedures such as electrolysis, laser, chemical peels, waxing, etc.
Irritated skin can develop permanent darkening in response to sunlight. Do not expose irritated skin to the sun until the skin has returned to normal.
