Tubule technology that solves smudging and smearing that leads to mascara raccoon eyes!

Water resistant color from blinc coats your lasts and forms durable ‘tubes’ around them. Once dry, they can’t smear – no matter what. Yep, you can put oil on your face, sweat, hot flash, get rained on, cry and even go swimming. The tubules stay put until you rub them off. This is the ultimate in trustworthy mascara. A fantastic brilliant advance!

Know that blinc is not like any other mascara. Mascara is typically a oil and/or penetrating paint applied to lash hairs. It chips and degrades throughout the day with every movement of your eyelids. On the other hand, blinc is made from a technology that forms firm tubule structures that encase lash hairs. To remove them requires intention – wetting with warm water and rubbing – and then the tubules slip and slide off your lashes. Neither water nor friction alone will take off blinc, you need to intentionally use them together to get these little tubules to let go of your lashes. In my opinion, this is a truly high performance product; technology that creates tenacious color, volume and lengthening tubules that don’t budge until you say so. Yep, there is no way for this technology to smear. I’m a huge fan!

Vegan, gluten free, made in the USA. You’ve found a treasure that most of your friends don’t know about. Tested and proven to be a non-irritating mascara making it ideal for sensitive eyes and people who wear contact lenses. Better than waterproof because you need a combination of warm water and gentle pressure to remove blinc. Never tested on animals, just happy people searching for a smear proof and ingenious mascara.

Apply blinc like a regular mascara. Don’t use lash conditioners (except blinc Lash Primer), lotions, etc... before applying blinc because it requires a dry, clean surface in order to adhere properly to your lashes. It takes about 2 minutes to set and begin forming the tiny "tubes" around your lashes. If you curl your lashes or use blinc primer, do so before you apply blinc Amplified Mascara. Apply each coat starting at the base of the lash and brush out to the tip. Reapply until you have achieved the desired length and volume. Do not let each coat fully set before applying another coat because you want to build up coats to thicken and lengthen your lashes by adding coats before they are dry. Separate lashes with a lash comb or the tip of the lash wand. The trick is that this must be done before blinc mascara sets. Once it sets, you can no longer build coats or separate lashes.

Application Tips & Tricks

If you accidently apply too much mascara on your lashes, gently swipe your lashes with a dry q-tip to absorb any excess mascara.

If required, once your mascara is applied, use a lash comb to separate lashes prior to the mascara setting, for even greater definition.

Blinc mascara is great for use on fake lashes and eyelash extensions, since it doesn't require makeup remover (which can reduce the longevity of the adhesives used in false eyelashes).

The more strokes with blinc you apply the thicker the lash looks. Also, if you apply some final strokes to the ends of your lashes you can extend the tubules and really lengthen the look of your lashes!

Bunching lashes are also a thing of the past with blinc when you use at least 5 strokes to be certain your lashes are well separated with each stroke.

To Remove blinc

Simply wet your face with water to wash and apply gentle pressure. The tubules will slide off – looking like your eyelashes have fallen out but they HAVE NOT! Yep, first time it is quite a surprise because the little tubules look like lash hairs. They gently slide off leaving your lashes just fine and fully present – trust me. Water loosen the adhesion of the tubule to the lashes but it takes a little gentle pressure to slide them off. No tint, oily residue or chemicals will be left behind on your delicate eye skin like with other mascara products. Your skin will be totally clean and chemical free once the little tubules release and wash down the drain – brilliant!  For example, shower water may well be enough pressure to slide the tubules off your lashes.

FAQs

Can I curl my lashes?

Yes, and blinc will hold the curl better than regular mascara. I love this about blinc because I curl my lashes and they stay pretty all day.

Will regular make-up remover take blinc off?

Nope, only water and gentle pressure. This stuff is brilliant and amazing and like none other.

Do I need to remove blinc when I sleep at night?

You always need to remove eye makeup when you are going to bed for long hours – make it a habit no matter what mascara you use. Trust me here, I’m a doctor.

Is it safe for sensitive eyes and people who wear contact lenses or eyeglasses?

Many people with sensitive eyes and who wear contact lenses and glasses use blinc. It is not an oil-based paint like other mascara products nor does it migrate or smear once dry. This makes it even less likely to irritate sensitive eyes. Flaking is a problem with many mascaras and blinc does not flake. You also are able to avoid eye makeup removers, often needed with oily mascaras. This is another plus for sensitive eyes. Because once dry it does not smudge or smear, you can trust blinc not to paint streaks on your eyeglasses either. Tests of irritation were done using MatTek EpiOcular in vitro toxicity system using Good Laboratory Practice principles and the results were fantastic – blinc mascara was given non-irritating classification. My sensitive eyes confirm the results.

Can I swim with blinc on?

Yes and, some of the tubules may come off when the product gets really wet and you are moving around in the water. Some will stay though and you won’t have that funny streak of black running down your face like with traditional mascara. Same with crying! It is the best mascara for a day where you expect tears.

Is blinc waterproof?

No, it’s better. It provides better hold than waterproof mascaras (that never worked for me) yet comes off easily when you combine water and gentle pressure. Waterproof mascaras are thick globular tenacious paints with tough chemicals. Opthalmologists don’t like waterproof mascara that requires near ‘paint thinner’ makeup removers when you have sensitive eyes.

It’s expensive, how long will it last?

That depends but probably longer than your normal mascara. You don’t need to reapply during the day. My blinc lasts so it’s really hard to say. Close the bottle tight to prolong the life of your blinc by preventing product from drying hard. Remember too, you are saving on makeup remover.
