When is the best time to apply products that correct skin problems?
These important products are best applied to clean skin for maximal percutaneous absorption. Let your cleanser remove dirt, oil, product residue and debris that might hinder your powerful products from passing into your skin. The one exception here is that cleansers with Correct ingredients work well, such as medicated acne cleansers that leave behind a residue of medicine after washing away skin oil and debris.
After applying your Correct products apply hydrating products on top to 'seal the deal' and enhance penetration.
Tips for using professional skin care products to Correct skin problems.
Professional skin correcting products are often so powerful that you need to start on the lower level strength and move up. That’s why I have so many different concentrations for things such as acne treatment medicated products, glycolic acid products and retinol night creams. As your skin begins to transform it can tolerate higher levels. But, like lifting weights, you can’t start on the higher levels until your skin has gone through some ‘training’. Be patient, even the lower levels are much more powerful than what you will find in typical commercial skin care ranges.
